Lincoln 14, South Pasadena 40
Jr. Varsity Football
Coach's Corner with Coach Fonseca
CA — The JV offense took advantage of Lincoln's miscues to put 27 points in the 1st quarter. We had 8 different running backs touch the ball 32 times for about 300+ rushing yards. 3 quarterbacks attempted 8 passes with 2 going into the endzone. Defense did a solid job of slowing down Lincoln's offense. We had many quarterback sacks and several plays for loss of yards. The highlight was our kick off team. Kicking the ball 7 times and giving Lincoln about 4 yards per return. We even recovered a Lincoln miscue on the opening kick off to give our offense the ball right away.
