Midland — There’s no doubt that both teams will find moral victories from this game. In a game with a down to the wire finish, shooting was gonna be the determining factor of who won. And fortunately for the Oilers, a foul by Midland Dow with about 5 seconds left gave Lexi Borodychuk a chance to give the Oilers the lead at the stripe. She went two for two, a buzzer beater attempt from 3 was no good for Dow, and the Oilers won a nail biter 36-35.

Mount Pleasant, MI — After leading by only 5 points at halftime, the Oilers out scored Garber 12-4 in the third quarter to increase their lead to 34-21 going into the 4th. Garber was unable to hang in the end as the Oilers won 40-28.

Mount Pleasant — The Oilers had a barrage of free throws early on to help them in racking up points and had a balanced scoring attack with contributions from many different players. They win this one 46-34 to head into 2026 with an undefeated record.

Mount Pleasant — The Oilers got great offensive production from Lexi and Morgan Borodychuk, who combined for all 13 Oiler points in the first quarter. Lizzie Laney also had some good scoring highlights as well amongst others. And even though it wasn’t the greatest of second halves, the Oilers had some key buckets and forced key turnovers as Midland Dow couldn’t get many threes to fall in crunch time. Oilers win 44-36.

Bay City, MI — The Oilers jumped out in front from the beginning. They had a barrage of three’s from Lexi Borodychuk especially and dominated defensively as well. Oilers win this one 57-13 to stay undefeated on the season so far.

Mount Pleasant — Lizzie Laney lead the scoring for the Oilers tonight and the Oilers also had some clutch 3’s down stretch. Even though the Oilers had issues with turnovers tonight, they were able to score clutch buckets late and get key defensive stops late to secure a 46-39 win over Bay City Western.
