Zeeland, MI — The Sailors add another win to their record on the road. West was seeking revenge from a blowout loss earlier in the season. After a low scoring first quarter, both teams get in a groove but our freshman boys were able to take the lead going into the half. After the break, the Sailors outscored West 26-16 and secured the win with some late free throws.

Grand Rapids, MI — Our Sailor boys got off to a very slow start

Whitehall, MI — The freshman team gets back in the win column with a great win on the road vs Whitehall. The Sailors led by 6 after the first period and were up 15 with 2 minutes remaining in the half. Whitehall went on a run of their own cutting the lead to 10 at halftime. Coming out of the midway break, the Sailors prove to be too much for the Vikings as they outscored them 34-14 in the second half to secure another victory.

Norton Shores, MI — The winning streak for the freshman team comes to an end with a tough loss to Muskegon. In an unfamiliar situation, the Sailors struggle to score only scoring 8 points in the first half. The boys never gave up but weren’t able to make a run in the final two quarters.

Norton Shores, MI — Our freshman boys start the second half of the season on the right foot with a victory over rival Reeths-Puffer. The Sailors got off to a great start holding RP to 4 points after 1 quarter. They kept the lead through the final 3 quarters and were able to win comfortably.

Zeeland, MI — Your freshman boys get another impressive win to improve their record to 11-0. They got off to a great start leading ZE by 10 at the end of the first quarter! After halftime, the Sailors out scored East 17-5 giving them a comfortable 43-18 lead heading into the 4th. An explosive final period put the nail in the coffin and the boys stay perfect on the season!

Norton Shores, MI — The Sailor freshmen continue their winning ways with a strong defensive effort against Zeeland West! Relying on our defense while we struggled on the offensive end, we scored 19 points during the first half but held Zeeland to only 9. The boys came out of the halftime break on fire as they went on to hold ZW to ZERO points and scored 14 of their own in the 3rd quarter! In the final quarter the Sailors coasted to another victory.

Grand Rapids, MI — In the toughest game of the season so far, the freshman boys add another win to their record in a hard fought battle vs Union. The RedHawks gave us a taste of our own medicine, holding us to 11 points in the first half. After the break, the Sailors took control of the game with a 19-6 3rd quarter. They held off Unions 4th quarter run to secure a 3 point victory on the road.

Norton Shores, MI — Our Sailor freshmen stay in the win column with a 65-42 victory over Wyoming. Wyoming came out fighting but we were able to take control, leading by 11 at halftime. The boys started the 3rd quarter on fire scoring 22 points while only allowing 9 and were able to cruise through the 4th to secure the win!

Holland, MI — Freshman boys open up conference play with victory on the road vs a scrappy Holland team. The Sailors got off to a great start gaining the momentum and keeping it going into the half. Coming out of the break the boys outscored Holland 21-2 and was able to cruise through the final quarter!

Norton Shores, MI — The Sailors get their first win of 2023 and improve to 6-0. We started the game hot jumping out to a 29-4 lead after the 1st period. It was smooth sailing from then as the boys cruised through halftime and the final 2 quarters.

Ada, MI — Your Sailors improve to 5-0 on the season with an impressive win over East Kentwood! After a tough, low scoring 1st quarter the Sailors led by 3 going into the second. By halftime they added to the lead, up 19-9 at the break. Our boys then coasted to a 42-30 victory and are Cornerstone Holiday Tournament Champions!

Ada, MI — Our freshman boys continue their win streak with a great win in the first round of the Cornerstone Tournament. After a slow start, they picked up the defensive intensity and went into halftime with a comfortable lead 26-12. With a 4th quarter spark from Jaylin Jackson we were able to add on to the lead and secure a 26 point victory.

Norton Shores, MI — Our boys freshman team continue their win streak with an impressive victory over Lowell 60-6. The Sailors were in control from start to finish only allowing 2 points in the first and second quarters. They led 25-4 at the half. The boys sealed the win with a 23 point 3rd quarter and held Lowell scoreless in the final period!

Norton Shores, MI — Freshman boys get their first win of the season in a battle against Holland West Ottawa. In control from tip-off, the Sailors jumped out to a 7-0 lead to end the first quarter and led 25-8 at halftime. WO fought hard to make it an competitive game as they overcame a 20 point deficit. In the end, the Sailors held off their run and came out on top.
