South Plainfield Tigers vs. Sayreville Bombers
Parlin, NJ — The eleven seeded Tigers matched up against the six seeded Bombers at the Bomb Shelter Tuesday. As division opponents these two teams split the season series 1-1. With the season on the line, in the First Round of the JV GMC Tournament the Bombers prevailed in a big way. The Bombers with a 1 point halftime lead, dominated the 2nd half. Propelled by Trevor Yan's 10-point 3rd quarter, Noah Trindade's 13-point 2nd half, and Evan Fowler-Hauser's 6-point 4th quarter, The Bomber's secured their 11th win of the season and a birth to the Quarterfinals. Trevor Yan led all scorers with 30 points, and he and the Bombers look to carry this momentum Friday as they travel to South Brunswick to face the 3-seeded Vikings.

Metuchen, NJ — The Bombers hit the road once more to face the Flying Flock at Saint Joseph High School in Metuchen on Tuesday. Trevor Yan led all scorers pouring in 27 points and hitting seven 3-pointers, as the Bombers pushed the Falcons to the limit. Will Lukie and Noah Trindade also added 27 points combined in the closely contested effort. As the Bombers fall to .500 once more, they look forward to hosting College Achieve Central on Saturday, in aspirations of closing out the regular season with a win.

Parlin, NJ — The Bombers hosted the Red Devils on Monday and looked to bounce back and regain a winning record. The Bombers got off to an outstanding start winning the 1st Quarter 17-6. The Bombers maintained their advantage throughout the game. The Bombers shared the ball and distributed the wealth as three players scored in double figures. Will Lukie and Marcus Dowling added 8 points each to the winning effort. Noah Trindade led the way with 13 points, while Trevor Yan and Evan Fowler-Hauser poured in 12 and 11 points of their own to secure victory for the Bombers. The Bombers look to carry this momentum to St. Joe's Tuesday.

Edison, NJ — The Bombers wore their Blue Collars as they traveled to visit a conference foe in the Trojans. The Bombers got off to an excellent start propelled by David O'Keefe's 11 points in the opening frame. The Bombers pressure was too much for the Trojans to handle as the Bombers experienced a wire to wire victory. The Bombers were led in scoring by Noah Trindade exploding for 21 points and aided by David O'Keefe and Trevor Yan turning in exceptional performances of 15 points and 12 points respectively. The Bombers will wear their Blue Collars once again and look to create a winning streak as they travel to Hillsboro to face the Raiders.

Matawan, NJ — The Bombers travelled to visit the cross-town rivals in Old Bridge on Tuesday. The Battle of Route 9 began with a strong first quarter from the Bombers outscoring the Knights 21-14 in the opening frame. The Bombers led by Noah Trindade, Marcus Dowling, and Trevor Yan combined for 48 of the Bombers 69 total points. Noah Trindade poured in 24 points of his own leading the Bombers in scoring. The Bombers look to carry their momentum Thursday at the Bomb Shelter versus the Colonia Patriots.

South Plainfield, NJ — The Sayreville Bombers travelled to South Plainfield to face the Tigers in the second of their divisional matchup. The Tigers pounced on the Bombers as they gained a double digit lead within the first few minutes. The Bombers fought and clawed their way back into the contest lead by Noah Trindade and Evan Fowler Hauser with 19 and 9 points respectively. Unfortunately the deficit was too much to overcome. They look to bounce back from the loss Tuesday at cross town rival Woodbridge.

Monroe Township, NJ — The Bombers traveled to Monroe in a divisional bout against the Falcons. The Bombers loss to the Falcons was the first New Year. They fought hard, but faced foul trouble and struggled mightily from the field. William Lukie and David O'Keefe led the way with 12 and 11 points respectively. The Bombers look to rebound from this loss Thursday, as they visit the Piscataway Chiefs.

Piscataway, NJ — The Sayreville Bombers tipped off their Holiday Tournament versus the Immaculata Spartans. The Bombers played hard, led by the backcourt duo of Trevor Yan and William Lukie, and managed to escape the preliminary round of the Holiday Tournament to face Piscataway in the final. Yan and Lukie combined for 39 points and David O'Keefe and Marcus Dowling add 11 and 10 points of their own.

Parlin, NJ — The Bombers looked to defend the Bomb Shelter for the first time this season versus the the Monroe Falcons. The Falcons were up to the task, tightly contesting the home team through 3 quarters. Trevor Yan, Marcus Dowling, and company extended the lead to double digits in the 4th Quarter as the Bombers were too much too contain. Trevor Yan lead the way scoring with 23 points and fellow Sophomore Marcus Dowling poured in 18 points and snagged 11 rebounds. The Bombers will enjoy the Holiday Break on a 2 game win streak before traveling to Piscataway for their Holiday Tournament.

After a back and forth game unfortunately the Bombers were on the wrong side of the battle, losing 55-51. The Bombers look to bounce back on Saturday versus another divisional foe in the Barons.
