Detroit, MI — We didn’t start the game off with the “want” to play. It showed in our performance in the first half. Once we realized that we could play with them we started to run the offense and play a little defense.

DeWitt, MI — Not the start we wanted but we will get better from here. We will step it up on defense and we will be able to run a play in a game very soon. The girls want it, but that’s why we will get better.

Louisville, KY — We didn’t get off to a horrible start. We competed the entire game. It was out of reach for a while but we collectively got us back in it. Starting on the defensive end then on to office. Reagan led us with 23 points, 10 rebs and 3 blks. Ivy and Nadiyah both had 11 pts.

Mt. Pleasant,, MI — We got our first win of the circuit. Even though we should be 3-0 this weekend, I’ll take it.

Mt. Pleasant,, MI — We had opportunities to get the victory but we did not capitalize on them. We will continue to improve and these games, we will be able to win.

Columbus, OH — WE were in the game the first half and we were playing ok. Our small mistakes that we make on a daily basis turn into big mistakes when the other team is scoring off of them. We, as a team, need to take better care of the ball. We have to make open shots, especially right at the rim. We, for some reason, couldn't catch the ball.

Columbus, OH — We have a lot to work on and this game shows us more than any other that we will play all year. This team, though they are good, aren't one of the top teams in EYBL. They will dominate in tournaments like this but would not in the Top 40 vs other EYBL teams.

Highland, MI — Great way to end a late day! The girls rallied while be grabbed, hit and not receiving the proper calls. I am proud of the effort we showed. Each player had a hand in winning this championship! You should all be proud!

Highland, MI — After taking the last team lightly, we came out in a better head space. Also, the girls said “let’s get them back for Black!”

Highland, MI — Our lack of focus made us start slow. It looked like we were still thinking about the last game and allowed the other team to be the aggressors. They stayed that way throughout the game until we finally won the game.

Milford, MI — We had a strong start with great energy! The girls were playing together and looked like they were pushed to dominate the game from the beginning. Each player played hard and looked focused!
