Nick ran two times for 8 yards (4.0 average yards per rush) but his biggest impact was on the defensive side of the ball as he collected four tackles and delivered a bone crushing hit to Brady Shomper, a hit that could be heard around the world and effectively end Williams Valley’s chances of a major comeback.

Nick scored his second touchdown in as many weeks on a nice 18-yard connection from Thomas Bowen in the middle corner of the end zone right below the goalposts to give Dunmore a 15-0 lead with 3:10 to go in the first quarter as they went for two points after the TD and succeeded.

Nick started the scoring for us on an 18-yard touchdown run on his only carry of the game with 3:37 remaining in the first quarter. He also picked up a team-high 5.5 tackles (one tackle for loss) on the defensive side of the ball.

Nick continues to be the soul and heart of our defense as he made a team-high nine tackles as Dunmore only allowed 14 points under his watch before being taken out in the fourth quarter despite to the outcome being determined by then.

Nick continues to play like a warrior week in and week out like I have stated many times before this season. He picked up seven tackles and a tackle for loss in the hard-fought eight-point victory over Western Wayne.

What else can you say about this young man. We are so grateful and lucky to have him on our side as he continues to display the Gladiator moniker for our football team day in and day out.
