Game 9 - Lions hope to get back on track towards a playoff berth
Bethel Park, PA — A second game on the road and third in a row brings the Lions to meet one of the top dogs in the conference - the Bethel Park Blackhawks (7-1). Bethel Park dropped a close ball game last week to Upper Saint Clair. The offense which typically boasts the highest outputs in the WPIAL was stymied in a 13-10 loss. The Blackhawks are led in the run game by SR RB Javaughn Moore. Returning to the lineup was the 2023 Allegheny 6 player of the year, Ryan Petras. Petras, who had shoulder surgery earlier this season. QB Tanner Pfeuffer was held under his typical output thrpowing for 141 yards (11 of 28). Defensively, the Lions see another stout D1 defensive line product in #43 Clancy Orie. Clancy is 6'3, 255 and is committed to play football at Navy.
