Elliston, VA — Nathaniel Deel gave a valiant effort for Twin Valley as he rushed for 105 yards on 14 carries and tallied all three of the squad’s touchdowns, but the Panthers lost to the Eastern Montgomery Mustangs in a non-district game played at Christiansburg High School.

Bradshaw, WV — Alex Helton scored on a 40 yard TD reception for Twin Valley as the Panthers lost to cross state rival River View. The Panthers fall to 2-6 with the loss.

Pilgrims Knob, VA — It was a long night for the Panthers as the offense struggled to move the ball against a stingy Montcalm defense. The Generals improved to 2-0 on the season after going 9-1 last season. The Panthers will be open next week and will then travel to Northwood on 9/15.

Pilgrims Knob, VA — Twin Valley overcame a stubborn Phelps squad through careful execution of the Wing-T. The Panthers exploded to take a 28 to 8 lead after playing neck and neck with the Hornets for the early part of the game. Alex Helton led the team with 74 yards rushing on 24 carries and he had 7 receptions for 105 yards and 1 TD. A balanced running attack behind Nathaniel Deel, Jacob Justice and Helton opened up the passing game for freshmen QB Brayden White who went 7-10-105 in his first varsity start.
