Game MVP
Feb 11, 2025
Clarkston 52, Adams 45
Boys Freshman Basketball
Matt had his best game of the season against maybe the best team we've played all season. Leading us with 21 points and 5 assists; Matt put relentless pressure on the rim and has improved at finishing through contact over the course of the season. Matt also did a great job of being a playmaker and advancing the ball in transition with the pass. Matt continues to get it done on both ends and has been our leader all season. He was a big factor in keeping us in this game until the final buzzer.
Game MVP
Jan 14, 2025
Adams 37, Troy 34
Boys Freshman Basketball
Matt led us against Troy with 14 points on 7 made field goals. Impressive at any level. Everytime Troy closed in on the lead Matt continued to answer with big shots and he's made tough mid range buckets normal for him. Matt's desire to win every single game is unmatched and he's a big time leader for us on the floor on both ends.
Game MVP
Dec 05, 2024
Stoney Creek 44, Adams 45
Boys Freshman Basketball
Matt led us in one of our crosstown rival games against a good Stoney Creek team with 17 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 5 steals. Matt led us on both ends; offensively showing his ability to score at 3 levels and defensively with his relentless pressure on the ball and his anticipation in the passing lanes that led to 5 steals.
Game MVP
Dec 10, 2024
Hartland 47, Adams 39
Boys Freshman Basketball
Matt led us with 13 points, 3 rebounds and 4 steals in our first loss of the season. Despite our team being very undersized in this one, Matt played a high level game on both ends. Putting consistent pressure on the rim and getting to the free throw line while guarding the best player on Hartland.
Game MVP
Dec 12, 2024
Adams 39, West Bloomfield 48
Boys Freshman Basketball
Matt led us with 12 points, 4 rebounds and 3 steals. Despite a loss in our first league game; Matt's effort is never in question as he guards the best player on the opposing team each game. Matt's ball pressure and aggressiveness getting to the rim kept us in this game until the final whistle.
