Jack Hurst led the Breakers offense and kept Laguna fighting until the final possession. He connected with Brady Stringham for two first-half touchdowns, hit Luca Guzman for a huge completion during the fourth-quarter comeback, and found Will Kimball for the touchdown that pulled Laguna within five. Hurst then helped lead the Breakers to the Westlake 7-yard line on their final drive, giving Laguna a chance to win it late.

Hurst led the Breakers offense with three touchdown passes, connecting with Will Kimball for the opening score and Brady Stringham twice to help power Laguna Beach to its first victory of the season.
