Ventura, CA — In their first game back after Winter Break the team started slow and mental mistakes cost the team. In the second half of the game the players settled in and played well, not allowing a goal. Emmanuel Catano racked a free kick off the crossbar narrowly missing a goal opportunity. Sammy Rocha had several good looks but was unable to cash one in. The defense played strong in the second half and Miguel Catano played well

Ventura, CA — The S/F played a very competitive game against Rio Mesa and is showing great improvement. Anthony Andres and Sammy Rocha both had opportunities to score in each half. The back line of David Torres, Jonah Malone, Cash Estrada and Jack Gillespie are playing well on Defense. Anthony Vigil and Emmanuel Catano stood out in midfield. The team is still working hard to get that win. They grow one step closer

Ventura, CA — Against a really well coached team in Oxnard the team showed more skills and much improvement. Emanuel Catano led the team on the field and Miguel Catano was good in goal making plays to keep them in the game. The team is getting closer to achieving the results they are looking for.

Ventura, CA — While the boys eventually succumbed to Westlake there were moments during play that they were together playing as a team. Hopefully a turning point in our season

Malibu, CA — In just the team’s second preseason game there was vast improvement made. Malibu was a very skilled, well coached team with whom we competed with well for roughly 25 minutes of the second half. Lessons were learned and the team is improving. I thought the midfield led by Elijah Caetano at defensive mid really came into focus with good performances that were effective in transition.

Stevenson Ranch, CA — The Soph/frosh boys went into the first game of the season with many unanswered questions. Given the change in their leadership and few practices with them before the game the team did figure out who they are and a path forward to success. The team never gave up, everyone stayed positive and played with good effort. Tony Andres had a couple good looks at goal with Carter Borman anchoring the attack. Emmanuel Catano and Van Siakhel provided the spark in midfield for the team. The defense has to get organized and play will be better, Samarthya Upadhyaya and Jonah Malon helped provide stability with Cash Estrada leading the defense. David Torres was in goal. Things will be looking up moving forward towards our game at Malibu
