Brea, CA — Lady Vanguards dominated the Dual 33-6 and took 5th place at the tournament.

Santa Ana, CA — Thanks to Strong performances by all the girls, we managed to take 2nd place with only 6 girls.

West Covina, CA — Brittany Sanchez and Karen Bello Shouldered the load this weekend. Brittany Sanchez placed 4th at 170 and Karen Bello placed 7th at 131.

Mission Viejo, CA — The Lady Vanguards took on El Toro and Capo Valley as well as Newport Harbor. The Lady Vanguards went 2-1 on the day with some standout performances.

chino Hills, CA — As a team, the lady vanguards had a solid showcase taking 13th out of 45 teams. This tournament showcased some of the best girls wrestling has to offer with multiple girls ranked in the nation and in the world.

Anaheim, CA — The Lady Vanguards put together a solid tournament showing at the prestigious Lady Aztec. The Lady aztec has multiple state qualifiers, state placers and state champions in attendance. Also the returning team state champions were in attendance.

Santa Ana, CA — Senior Captains Brittany Sanchez and Karen Bello continued to impress this season as they had very good days.

Santa Ana, CA — The Young Lady Vanguards impressed heavily with a great showing at the rumble in the realm. As a team, we took third and came away with a team trophy.

Cerritos, CA — The Halloween open is the last off season tournament before the start of the season and we had a great turnout. We had 4 Vanguards compete on varsity and we had 7 vanguards compete in the novice division.

Cathedral City, CA — The Lady Vanguards traveled to the lions den to take on a very tough and hungry Cathedral City team. The dual started with an exhibition match at 143 lbs. The Vanguards Dulce Paredes got things rolling for the Vanguards with a 10-2 win.

Santa Ana, CA — The lady vanguards entered the weekend missing a few of their starters but was more than glad to welcome senior captain Nancy Silva back to the line up. The lady vanguards showed a lot of improvement from last year. Last year the lady vanguards left with three placers and this year we left with 5! The girls fought hard all tournament and battled their way to earn their medals.

Orange, CA — The Lady Vanguards Faced off with the Beckman Patriots in the first home dual of the season. Beckman is a young and hungry team that was looking to make a statement with a victory over the vanguards. However, the vanguards wrestled hard and came out victorious. The lady vanguards won the dual by a score of 36-21 improving their dual record on the year to 3-3.

Downey, CA — The Lady Vanguards opened their season with a dual tournament at Downey High School. The teams in a attendance were warren, san fernando valley, millikan, Downey and John Glenn. The Lady Vanguards wrestled hard in every match with many of the girls wrestling in their first ever tournament. The Lady Vanguards found a way to win two of the duals against John Glenn and Millikan even while forfeiting four weight classes.
