Belmont, MI — Saturday some of our middle school racers traveled to Cannonsburg to compete in the Norm's GS Invitational. The Scots ended up with some great runs by its skiers and took third place.

The Scots Show Improvement in 2nd SWMMS Race
Otsego, MI — The second race, in a three race series, took place on extremely good conditions at Bittersweet Thursday night and the Scots took advantage of it and lowered its score, as compared to the first race a week before. The boy’s team dropped 5 points from its first race to tie GR Christian with 30 points and the girls team improved their score by dropping 6 point to score just 54 points.

CCSC Middle School Invitational

CCSC Invitational a Great Time for All!
Thompsonville, MI — Fifteen skiers traveled to Crystal Mountain to race in the Crystal Community Ski Club's Middle School Invitational against skiers from the CCSC Club, Grand Traverse Ski Club, Benzie Middle School, and Grand Rapids Christian Middle School on Friday Feb 25th. The race was completed in NASTAR format on Cheers. Our skiers did a great job in first slalom race and continued to show improvement in their giant slalom form.

The Scots take 2nd at the first WMMS GS Series Race!
Otsego, MI — The CMS Ski Racing Team opened up its conference race season Feb 24th at Bittersweet Ski area and they team skied well on a very "hard packed Michigan race surface". This year, the conference consists of teams from Grand Rapids Christian Middle School and Grand Rapids Catholic United. We were excited to add another team to the conference this season.

A ton of medals at NASTAR Today
Thompsonville, MI — 12 members of the Caledonia Middle School Ski Racing Club (and one future member) traveled to Crystal Mountain to race NASTAR Sunday and the kids did extremely well. For many it was their first race and from the number of smiles, the trip north was a big hit.
