Good morning everyone,

Attached to this message is the flyer to our upcoming Poker Tournament Fundraiser.  Please do not post on social media! Feel free to send via text message, email, or private message on social media. Here is important information for you:

  1. The date of the fundraiser is Saturday, October 1st.

  2. Each family in the organization is responsible to get two participants for the poker tournament.

  3. The buy in for the poker tournament is $50 per person, for $1,500 in chips.

  4. If you are unable to obtain a 1 or 2 participants, you will need to buy out at $50 per person. (Or you and your spouse can play for the $50 buy in each and have a chance to win $$ prizes.

  5. Each family will be asked to donate a food or drink item or money for the team rep to buy the items instead.

  6. Each team will need a few volunteers to help with set up and take down the day of the event.

  7. All money will need to be turned in no later than Thursday, September 29th, along with the names of your participants.

Here is the information you should pass on to your prospective participants in this event (Remember - the flyer attached is not to be posted on social media. It can be sent out via email, text, or private message on social media):

  1. The cost to buy in to this event is $50 for $1,500 in chips.

  2. Check in begins at 5pm. The tournament begins at 6pm.

  3. Re-buys and add-ons can occur until 8:15pm.

  4. $$ prizes are given out to the top 8 participants (final table.)

  5. Over $2,500 in $$ prizes will be awarded at this event.

  6. Every participant in the tournament will have access to all you can eat food and appetizers.

  7. Drink bracelets for all you can drink beverages can be purchased for $15. NO BYOB!

  8. For non poker player and/or significant other to poker players may purchase wristbands for all you can eat food items and all you can drink beverages. NO BYOB!

  9. Also for poker players and non poker players, we will have raffles and games to participate in to win additional prizes.

Additional information to our parents:

This is an organizational fundraiser and all profit goes toward equipment for inside and outside the cages, repairs to pitching machines, and some of our coaches travel expenses.


All money will need to be turned in no later than Thursday, September 29th, along with the names of your participants.

**As an incentive, anyone who can get three or more participants (including yourselves) to represent your daughter at this poker tournament, will receive 5 raffle tickets for our upcoming raffle for a cooler/basket full of alcohol.

Please make sure your participants know to reference your daughter and her age division when checking in for the tournament.

Please keep in mind, we know that fundraising isn’t everyone’s favorite thing to do. However, when everyone pulls together and helps out, the task at hand becomes much easier, and the event as a whole becomes more successful.

Fundraisers like these are necessary to help make organization run more efficiently and help to provide all of the things necessary to provide the best environment possible for you and your daughter.
