Stop Tipping Your Fundraising Company,
Start Funding Your Coaches!
Available June 2025
After a donor has selected how much they want to donate to the team, they can be prompted with an option to donate to the coaches fund. This is where competitors ask for a tip that goes to the company, not the team. Instead of giving money to your fundraising company, keep it within the team.
It is both optional to have this on your fundraiser and optional for the supporter to add to their donation.
Vertical Raise, Snap Raise, SchoolFundr, and many other fundraising companies automatically add a tip on top of each donation. That tip goes to the company, not the team, despite their tricky wording. Vertical makes it very difficult to identify the tip that is being added and hard to remove.
Teams receive 95% of Coach Fund donations. Teams either withdraw the money with their normal fundraising proceeds or can spend the Coach Fund proceeds directly through Blast without withdrawing money. Coach Fund proceeds are tracked separately.
