TUFA Super Bowl Champions Experienced First Loss

The undefeated Leander Wolfpack traveled to Washington DC to play the defending national champion North Carolina Rebels. The Rebels started off hot and fast by returning the opening kickoff for a touchdown, but Vondell Hargrove made sure to answer just as quickly as the Pack was able to answer immediately. The Rebels would pull ahead by a couple of scores, only to watch the Pack get back within 8 points late in the game. It was missed tackles and turnovers that boosted the Rebels in the 4th quarter to extend the lead and seal the game with a score of 21-41.
