Performance

Aubrey you probably had one of your best games last Saturday ! You were so aggressive on offense and really using your skills and dribbling the ball with excellent skill and control. You dominated 1 V1 situations!! You had so many shots on the goal and opportunities because of how hard you played and the skills that you have acquired and put to use ! I am really proud of how far you have come as a player and I appreciate your hard-working attitude, coachability and your respectfulness! Great job!

Isabella, although you don't normally play defense, Saturday, you played most of the game there. You did an incredible job! You never let them get by you and you battled every time they approached to score on our goal. You were able to take the ball away using skills and pass it up the field to one of your teammates! You had several 1 V1 situations where you controlled the ball and did not force it out of bounds, but kept it in our possession! great job ! you may be tiny but you are a ferocious!

Tough game

Newberg, OR — Well, that was probably my least favorite game for several reasons. Unfortunately, early on in the game, Gracie got really sick on the sidelines and was unable to play. She got a really bad case of the stomach flu. I had a couple of girls complaining of sore neck's and sore legs and arms hurting. Although we have no control over illness and injuries, It felt like we showed up not quite ready to play that day. 😬Others were complaining about their positions and asking to be switched relentlessly. I was also being asked constantly when kids were going to be going in and where. All of this is distracting to me on the sidelines.
