Varsity wins 1-0; JV falls 2-1
The Lady Chieftains varsity soccer team took home a 1-0 win against Leavenworth on March 31st. 16 minutes into the game, Natalie Loving dribbled through several defenders before getting fouled for a penalty kick. Loving took the kick and scored. Loving lead the charge with four shots. Marissa Dick had three shots and Lily Sanders, Legan Caraway, and Molly Vought each had a shot in the first half. Lauren Breuer recorded two saves. The second half went scoreless with Loving and Dick each having two shots. Breuer and the backline proved themselves again by recording their second shut-out of the season. The Chieftains play Lansing High School at home on Thursday, April 2nd at 6 p.m.
