Big Freshmen win with only 4 Offensive plays!
Taft freshmen started the game with a bang!! Jerimiah took the opening kickoff for a score after making one great move in the middle of the field he out raced all the pursuers from Curie!!! A great defensive stand aided by a bad snap on the punt resulting in a safety!!! So second kickoff to Taft and Jerimiah did it again! He worked way harder for this one, throwing off tacklers and spinning open to score a second touch down. Defensively the team played well, getting a second safety and a few punts which set up our 4 offensive plays! On the first one a bad snap is picked up by Max on the scramble, he drops his shoulder to knock over a tackler and then sprints into the end zone! The other true offensive play, not a two point attempt came when King took the handoff on our inside run. Majid made a great block taking out two players at the second level to set him free on his cut back inside.
