Lady Knights Get First Victory

The Knights got in the win column Monday with a decisive win against the host team Upland. Odhi Vasquez pitched 5 innings striking out 11 while giving up just 2 hits and 2 walks. Kika Martinez provided the spark on offense with a double that scored Arissa Calvillo in the top of the 4th inning. In the 5th inning the Lady Knights sent 9 to the plate, scoring 5 runs to seal the game. Sam Polowski, Mikayla Prudhilme, Arissa Calvillo, and Odhi Vasquez all came up with big hits in the inning.
