Continuing to work to get better.
To date, we have been working out three days a week. We have had an average of about 40 boys attending! We are focusing on the core lifts and plyometrics. Also football specific running drills. We are making gains and working hard. Next week is our dead week. Please encourage the boys to run and lift 3-4 times next week. Planet Fitness is free to them I believe. WLC couldn't keep up with Novi and fell 9-2 in Game 1 on Saturday.
A walk-off left Walled Lake Central Varsity Vikings on the wrong end of a 7-6 defeat to Novi Wildcats Varsity on Saturday. Novi was down 6-3 in the bottom of the 7th inning until Brendon Bennett singled, scoring 2 runs to win 7-6.
