Came home with some hardware

The varsity traveled to Santa Anna high school this past Wednesday and Thursday. We competed in the Asics SoCal challenge tournament. As a team, we wrestled extremely well. We brought 11 of the 14 weight classes, and we were able to walk away with a 7th place trophy out of 65 teams entered. We had five total players, congratulations to them, but without the rest of the team contributing placing so well would not have happened. Great job by everybody who came and wrestled hard.

Bottom of the 7th comeback!

Down 0 -5 with one last chance, Cougars Varsity team rally through their entire batting lineup, take the lead for the win, in bottom of 7th. This team does not give up! Amazing job boys, we are proud Cougar families and you are all fun to watch!

Cougars make comeback

Down 5-0 in the bottom of the 7th the cougars score 6 runs to win the game on Jake Fleming game winning single.

Cougars had their hands full.

Another week of Valley league duals, leads to another week of a very competitive dual. Due to illness, eligibility and other circumstances dictated that both teams rely on their freshman to fill the lineups. A total of 9 freshman competed on the night. With 2 matches left the Cougars held a small lead, at 128lb the Cougars needed a win from Anthony Solis to seal the deal and he did not disappoint. Anthony’s pin gave the Cougars a hard fought 3 point victory.
