Looking to clinch their first playoff birth since 2020, your Franklin County Lions took the field Friday night against rival Hart County.
Coming off a their first loss of this 2025 season, your Lions arrived at East Jackson Comprehensive High School looking to move back into the win column. From the opening drive, it was evident that the away team was in it to win.
The stage was set, the anticipation in the air, and your 5-0 Lions made the trip to Toccoa to take on those rival Indians.
Returning to play at home, your Lions looked to improve to 5-0 for the first time since 2020. The West Hall Spartans came to town with a lot of size and athleticism. Franklin was down there starting quarterback, and facing a degree of uncertainty. The game shaped up to be a challenge for Franklin County a week before they set to begin region play.
