I absolutely love being a coach. I love the positive impact that sports ministry has on our youth. I am thankful for the privilege to coach young ladies during their high school years. I know God has a plan for each one of them. I get to enjoy the journey while walking along side of them on and off the dirt. I’ve played and enjoyed softball since I was 8 years old. I grew up playing Bobby Sox for East Anaheim then later moved onto travel ball with the Crackerjack Org out of Santa Ana. I received a scholarship to play softball at Fresno State where I had the once in a lifetime experience of the World Series in Oklahoma City. Our 1998 Fresno State Softball Team won the National championship that year. From 2002-2007 I took a break from the softball world but as soon as my daughter turned 5 years old-I found myself back out on the dirt and it has been that way ever since. I am grateful I get to coach and be a part of my daughters journey. I love coaching at Calvary Chapel. There is no place I would rather Coach. I am grateful for all that the Lord has done this year. One highlight was our anonymous donation of $50,000 to our softball program in December 2017 that allowed us to renovate so much of the field and now we can host home games at Calvary. The fellowship and memories have already been so sweet this year. The best is yet to come. Go Eagles!
