Our ladies played good

Our ladies played good, unfortunately they needed to play great to beat Calvary chapel. The performance tonight wouldā€™ve beat most teams but Calvary Chapel deserved to win today. Thatā€™s OK ladies, shake it off and bring that same performance to Fullerton on Thursday.

Well this one is sure to be a challenge for our lady Vanguards as they go on the road to Santa Ana to face the Eagles of Calvary Chapel. Current rankings do not reflect the 2 previous victories but even after they do, Elmo is still sure to be the ā€œunderdogā€ in this one. Calvary Chapel boasts a national ranking over 3,000 spots higher than Elmo and 350 spots higher in California rankings. But weā€™ve seen what being the underdog means with victories in their last 3 matches, 2 of which they also came in as the underdog. Either way, the ladies need to play mistake free and really bring it to the Eagles. See ya all at the game.

Elmo underdogs again? Pfft...

In the second game of a home back to back, our lady Vanguards again find themselves as underdogs versus the Lancers of Sunny Hills. Some computer in some basement somewhere in the world has decided that Sunny Hills is ranked 90 spots ahead of Elmo in the California rankings. That computer has Obviously never seen our lady vanguards in action. Come on out tonight and support our team.

The Lady Vanguards emerge victorious

Despite being ranked 100 spots below Paramount in the California rankings, the lady Vanguards take the match in 4 games. They donā€™t have much time to celebrate before playing again tomorrow night. And again they will host the opponent as the underdog in rankings. Canā€™t wait for them to prove the ranking system wrong again!
