Coach Roy Green tenure at HIU the Royals have span of 13 seasons. Green has help turn the program around from a 4-26 record in 2006-07 to a 32-3 record in 2014-15. Coach Green coaching career at local high schools spanning 1972-78. At Compton College, CSULA, CSUD, Occidental College. He also coached at Cal Poly Pomona, Mt Sac, Citrus College, and The University of La Verne prior to his tenure at HIU. Coach Green coached at the Byron Scott's basketball camp(1980-85). At LACC(2002-03) State Champion. Coach Green played high school basketball at Luther Burbank HS in Sacramento. He played basketball at Cal State LA, and head JV Basketball Coach from 1971-73. Coach Green served in The US Navy from 1968-70. Green lives with his wife Pat in Chino Hills, and attend The Church of God and Christ in Los Angeles, CA.
