FS Defense held strong again today.

FS Defense held strong again today. Limiting the amount of shots on goal and keeping the ball out of the net. Great play by GK Sierra Whalen and defenders Amber Ponder, Elizabeth Zarate, Nevan McCarthy, Kaitlin Douquette Kaylie Clem and Bri Hoyle. The first goal came from a little slip ball played from Nevan to Lizbeth Valadez who finished it first time. The second goal was a run down the left side where Annie West dribbled and crossed a ball into the middle of the goal where Baylee Fogelmanis put the ball away.

FS continues to play strong

FS continues to play strong. 15 minutes into the game Ava Rutherford played a thru ball to Annie who found the back of the net. Second half we found two more goals. The first one started from Karla Marruffo with a ball played wide to Baylee Fogelmanis who crossed it in front of the goal and Ava finished. Our final goal was a long run down the left side of the field finished again by Annie. Defense held strong once again allowing only 3 shots and goal keeper Abby Lojewski earned another clean sheet.

Another win

FS overcame another challenge today. They went down 1-0 early in the first half. Late in the half Lauren Covarrubias scored to tie it up off of a cross from Annie West and the half ended 1-1. Second half our team came out strong and this half we were the team who scored first. Amber Ponder played a thru ball to Baylee Fogelmanis who first time finished it. Baylee found her second goal off of a throw in from Nevan McCarthy. The fourth goal came off of a corner taken by Kaitlin Douquette finished by Amber. Zoe Gonzalez played a long ball to Madison Dicky who finished the final goal of the game. Defense had another stand out game. Holding it down in the back were defenders Kaylie Clem, Elizabeth Zarate, Nevan and Kaitlin and goal keepers Sierra Whalen and Lauren Covarrubias.
