Titans,

I have been looking over the results from the Google Forms Survey that was posted on Tuesday, and was pleased to see how many of our players have been completing the daily workouts that have posted during school closures! It is truly a testament to your dedication to yourself, your teammates, and our Titan Family.
The information has been crucial for determining the direction we are going to take moving forward. With that said, we have had 32 players that have taken the survey, but need to hear from everyone! If you have not yet taken the survey, please click on the following link:

Not everyone's ability to participate in team activities is the same, and in order for me to help meet everyone's needs, I have to know our players circumstances. Let's have maximum participation on this survey and get everyone accounted for!

Over the past three weeks, there have been new developments on a daily basis that make the future seem unclear. Many of us have more questions than answers and it can be tough to know what to do to prepare for the situations we will encounter in the months to come.
As many of you know, I played quarterback in a lot of different circumstances--ranging from being the starter, to a backup, to a redshirt, and even the third-string guy at a point. What I learned from my experiences playing quarterback in all of those situations is that you need to always prepare as though you are the going to be the starter because you never know when your opportunity will come. In my experiences, there were times when the situations seemed unfair, and even those when I was pouting because things were not happening the way I planned. There were also times that I had a great attitude and worked tirelessly in the role of a starter, and a backup situation where the starter went down and I came in and excelled.
In any circumstance, I learned that regardless of my place on the depth chart it was always important to maintain a positive attitude, workout and practice to the best of my ability, and study my playbook and film so that when my team needed me--I would be prepared. There is no doubt these are tough times we are dealing with, but do your best to be prepared when the time comes for us to finally have a chance to step on that field together.
I am thinking about all our players everyday. I am doing everything I can to gain information about off-season activities and the 2020 football season. As information on state, county, district, and CIF updates are made clear, I will continue to communicate with everyone moving forward. Please email me if you need anything: [email protected]. The Covid-19 pandemic is hitting some harder than others and I will do my best to help however I can. Stay Titan Tough!
