JV Lions Defeat the OLu Lancers, Bring Home Trinity League Championship!

The JV Lions beat the Orange Lutheran Lancers in the opening game of their three-game series 8-3. Casey Coady and Jayden Graves staffed the mound for JSerra, scattering five hits over seven innings. The Lion's offense hung crooked numbers in the 2nd and 5th innings to put the game out reach for the Lancers. Ryan Edwards led JSerra with two hits and 3 RBI on the day. The JV Lions improved their league record to 11-2, resulting in a Trinity League Championship for the team. The Lions venture to Hart Park in Orange to battle the Lancers in game two on Wednesday at 3 PM.

JV Lions Win to Complete the Sweep of the Servite Friars

The JV Lions scored in the early innings and then held off a late Friar rally to complete the series sweep of Servite 4-2. Cameron Maloney started on the hill for JSerra and struck out seven Friars. Josh Thomas and Matt Radogna helped close out the game in relief. Bear Harrison, Jake Bourne, and Dariusz Lukowski produced RBI for the Lions. The JV Lions improved their Trinity League record to 10-2 and begin their season series finale at home against the Orange Lutheran Lancers on Monday at 3 PM.

JV Lions Continue Their Winning Ways Against the Friars

The JV Lions stingy pitching staff limited the Servite Friars to just one hit as the Lions take game two of the series 7-1. Mack Zawistoski, Jayden Graves, and Troy Winningham represented JSerra on the mound. The Lions continued to swing hot bats as the team collected twelve hits for the day. Jake Bourne, Dillon Martin, Lou Fujiwara, Bear Harrison had multi-hit games for the Lions. The JV Lions have the chance to sweep the Friars in game three at Servite on Friday at 3:15 PM.

JV Lions Get the Dub, Blank the Friars

The JV Lions played error-free baseball and shut out the Servite Friars 8-0 to take game one of their three-game series. Casey Coady and Braden Wellen were on the hill for JSerra and pitched a two-hit gem while striking out seven Friars. The Lions amassed ten hits on the day. Dillion Martin, Jake Bourne, and Jackson Summers had 2 RBI apiece. The JV Lions face the Friars in game two at St. Pierre Field on Wednesday at 3:15 PM.
