Great performance overall.

It was definitely not the result we were looking for. However, the boys played very well and were able to build the ball up numerous times playing some attractive soccer. They capitalized on a couple mistakes which led to their goals and we battled the entire game creating very many opportunities but nothing got past the goalkeepers. Overall I feel like it was a great performance by the boys who played their hearts out knowing that it was their last game of the season. I was very proud of how the boys played.

A well played game

I thought the boys came out and played a very good game. In fact, probably one of the better games we have played all year. Defensively we were able to shut them down and not give them any opportunities and offensively we created quite a few chances ourselves. I felt that we had won the midfield the entire game and dictated the temple throughout the game.

Overall a better play

It was a much better showing this time around against SM. We came out with a little more fight a little more hunger than the first game however, we were only able to create very few opportunities to goal. It was a very windy game that gave us some problems in the first half but we could not take advantage of it in the second half. Between having players absent or injured we were able to step up and fill in those roles.

A good win

Great result for us going into Mater Dei and pulling off the victory. It was a game of back-and-forth between two teams trying to figure each other out. First half was a bit sloppy but after a good halftime talk we needed to settle down and win the midfield and we would win the second half which is what we did. Now we turn to get healthy and turn our focus to SM on Friday. Looking for a bit of revenge.
