The Red Ravens will open the 2023 Outdoor campaign at home in the Dean Pryor Invite. This will be a small meet with only four schools being represented. The meet will be on a rolling schedule and should have some good competition.
With the Region VI/KJCCC Championships only a week away the Red Ravens will head to Pittsburg to get in a final regular season competition at the PSU Gorilla Classic. Schools from all over the country have converged on Pittsburg Kansas to compete. The Red Ravens are still looking to add to the list of National Qualifying marks and with the athletes entered it will be a good weekend to pick up some of those marks.
The Red Ravens will be competing at the Wendy's Pittsburg State Invite! This meet will have DI, DII, NAIA, and some of the top Juco Teams in the country with four of the men's teams being in the top 15 in the latest NJCAA Poll. On the women's side there will be 3 teams that ranked in the top 20 of the latest NJCAA Poll! The Ravens are looking to put up some more quality marks! We are still chasing several National Qualifying marks in several events and feel that this might be the week we take the next step!!!
The Red Ravens will be back in action this weekend at both Pittsburg State and Washburn Universities. Due to the size of the squad the Ravens will be at both Pittsburg State and Washburn. The Ravens will be looking for more national Qualifying Marks this weekend. The Pittsburg State group will be competing in sprints, jumps and throws. The Washburn group will be mostly sprints, jumps, mid distance and distance. Both squads will be competing at venues that will be hosting either the Region/Conference meet or NJCAA National Championships!
