The Chiefs earned a crucial 3-0 victory over Pioneer High school. Santa Fe's back 4, led by Danny Ruvalcaba and Saul Garcia did an outstanding job shutting down several of Pioneers attacks. The Chiefs opener was scored as Kyle Mallory headed home a corner kick that was flicked on from Oscar Tostado. The second was a tidy finish from Jerry Chavez after Nathaniel Santana beat his man down the right hand side and squared a pass to the midfielder. Finally, the Chiefs scored on a long range effort by Louis Guardado after Ivan Rivera touched the ball cleanly outside the 18.

Nathaniel Santana led the way with 3 goals and 2 assists and Ivan Rivera scoring a goal and assisting another 2.
