Sailors drop a tough road battle
Zeeland, MI — Sailors fight hard but struggle to bury the shots to win. Last night MS battled a Zeeland West team that beat them earlier this year by 21 tied after one quarter, tied after two quarters and down one after three quarters. The Dux got crunch time shots, while the Sailors struggled to find the bottom of the net. The Sailors shot 3/19 from 3 point line and 15/52 overall. The coaching staff is proud of the effort and fight and feel we are close to breaking through. Last game the Sailors lost by 21 vs. the Dux at home. Progress is being made. FAMILY!

Sailors start strong but Chix too much
Norton Shores, MI — Mona Shores came out strong v. a loaded, veteran Zeeland East team. The Sailors played a great first 8 minutes but the Chix were too strong in the second and third. Proud of my boys in the 4th and 1st quarters. We're still growing. Leading the Sailors was the Ethan Krueger with 11 in very limited minutes due to foul trouble.

Sailors battle Puffer to the wire
Muskegon, MI — MS battled the Rockets Tuesday in the cross town rivalry. Although the Sailors came up short 39-43, they fought hard to the end. The growth in this team in just a few days was tremendous. The coaching staff is so excited for the journey ahead and the effort of these young men! The best is yet to come.

MS v. Union
Grand Rapids, MI — Mona Shores emerged from a tight first quarter tie to go on a 20-8 run in the second and 3rd quarters to get a conference road win last night. MS held Union to 26% shooting and won the rebound war. We have a lot to work on but also a lot to build on. The best is yet to come.
