Norton Shores, MI — Freshman boys win their second game of 2022 beating Grand Rapids Union 52-28. After a lopsided first quarter (15-0), the Sailors maintained a comfortable lead throughout all 4 quarters as Union tried to fight back. Jaeger Johnson led the way on the offensive end scoring 13 points which included 3 3pt baskets. Ezra Carefelle was another standout offensively scoring 9 points and added a handful of assists. This was a great team defensive game as the boys had over 10 steals and forced 6 more turnovers.

Grand Rapids , MI — The freshman team gets in the win column by defeating Tri-Unity Christian 86-19. The Sailors got off to a fast start leading 28-5 at the end of the 1st period. With four players in double digits, Hunter Krueger led the scoring attack with 14 points and added 6 rebounds. Mikey Burr followed up with 13 points including 3 3-point baskets. Ezra Carefelle and James Starr both contributed 12 points a piece.
