New Castle, PA — The 3B Barons watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 3-2 loss to DuBois bucks on Sunday. DuBois Bucks scored on a single by Billote and an error in the first inning.

New Castle, PA — J.A. Quahliero performed a complete game on the mound only allowing 4 runs that helped motivate The 3B Barons to reign victorious over the East Butler Bulldogs.

Altoona, PA — A walk-off left The 3B Barons on the wrong end of a 9-8 defeat to Altoona CM on Sunday. Altoona CM was down 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Colton Burd homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

Butler, PA — The 3B Barons blew out Butler Blue Sox 9-3 on Saturday.

Youngstown, OH — Tyler Kamerer had a busy day at the plate on Wednesday, smacking four hits in The 3B Barons's 13-3 victory over Creekside Crocodiles. Kamerer singled in the first, doubled in the fifth, singled in the eighth, and tripled in the eighth.

Butler, PA — The 3B Barons and Butler Iron Bucks played a taut affair on Thursday, but The 3B Barons eventually prevailed 16-12. The game was tied at 11 with The 3B Barons batting in the top of the twelfth when Frank De Luca singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

New Castle, PA — The Barons brought the fight with them to the field today to battle Altoona Cumming Motors. The Barons were down 7-0 going into the bottom of the 4th and found a way to pull it out, 10-9 in the bottom of the 7th. Shane Cato came in the 5th inning down 7-2 and kept the Barons in it enough to help them pull away with the victory. Brady Hansen lead the bats for the Barons with 2 hits, a single and a triple, also Hansen had 2 RBI's. In the bottom of the 7th the Barons wore 3 pitches to get base runners aboard followed by a Chase Tomko and Ryan Perretti hit then a Nathan Meeks walk off single. The Barons once again won as a team and continued to show heart no matter the circumstances of the game.

Altoona, PA — Matthew DuBois pitched a 6 inning gem with 12 strikeouts and zero runs given up. Matthew carved into Altoona's Johnston Reality from inning 1 and Nick Jacobs came in for the last inning to close it out with two strikeouts of his own. At the plate for the Barons Caleb Lehman blasted the Barons first home run of the season and Nick Jacobs hit a triple and a double. Caleb also lead the way with 2 RBI's followed by Gabe Yanssens, Brady Hansen, and Ethan Bintrim with one RBI a piece. Great teamwork defensively with big plays made by Nathan Meeks and Frank DeLuca to keep the score zero and all runners at bay. The Barons host Altoona Cumming Motors Sunday, July 3rd at Flaherty Field, first pitch is at 1pm.

New Castle, PA — The Barons hosted the B2 Bulls in a non-conference game at home this evening and gave the hometown crowd a show by walking it off in the bottom of the 7th inning. Matt Dubois started on the mound for the Barons and only allowed 2 runs early in the game. Matt tossed 4 complete innings to keep the Barons within striking distance. Brett Bobin came in to pitch during the 5th inning from 3rd base with the bases loaded and with a 3 pitch inning got out of it with no blood. Bobin threw 2 complete innings to keep the Barons in the game. In the bottom of the 6th pinch hitter Gabe Yanssens pulled through with a big hit that was the spark for the Barons to capture 1 run off Nathen Meeks broken bat ground ball and to cut the lead in half. Benny Dottle came in the 7th inning and closed out the Bulls to give the Barons a chance in the bottom of the 7th. Shane Cato hit a huge double to start the bottom of the 7th, followed by a Chase Tomko off the wall double, Anthony Ryan and Frankie DeLuca had huge walks, and finally Benny Dottle came up with the bases loaded and hit a hard ground ball past the shortstop to score Tomko for the win! Great team victory again for the Barons! The Barons head to Altoona Saturday for a double header against Johnston Reality.

New Castle, PA — The Barons opened up their home stretch with a win against the top-rated team in the division, The Butler Iron Bucks. The Barons starter Shane Cato was lights out on the mound only giving up 1 run early in the game and battled until the 5th. Ryan Gibbons came in for the 2 inning save opportunity and sealed the deal for the Barons. The defense made sharp plays on the dirt and in the air to keep Cato and Gibbons in front and pitching with the lead until the end. The Barons bats were lead by Nathan Meeks who accounted for 2 hits, 2 RBI's and 2 stolen bases to help push The Barons over the top and secure the first home victory of The Barons young history.

Holland, OH — The Barons displayed a full team effort for the win in game two of Sunday's double header. Benny Dottle, Shane Cato, and Isaac Criss worked together to keep the Hawks to only three runs. The Barons bats fought out the gate putting up runs when needed to keep the momentum. Chase Tomko was lights out at the plate going 2 for 3 with a blast off the wall and an RBI. Defensively Caelan Bender and Nathan Meeks put on a show up the middle with Bender having 6 PO’s himself and Nathan flashing his leather up the middle to halt any edge The Hawks were trying to gain. Great team weekend in Toledo, next game is Wednesday against the Creekside Crocs at Pemberton Park in Youngstown, Ohio.

Holland, OH — The starting pitcher, Jake Vitale, went 6 complete innings to keep the Hawks to one run. Jake struck out six Hawks throughout his outing and only gave up two hits. Following Vitale was Brett Bobin to close out the game in the last inning striking out two Hawks for himself. The Barons bats were on the ball today as Benny Dottle, Nathan Meeks, Anthony Ryan, Ryan Perretti, and Ethan Brintrim all had a multi-hit game. The defense was stellar, making all necessary plays behind a great pitching performance.

Youngstown, OH — The Barons went to Youngstown and put up 19 runs against the Crocs. The Barons were led by Connor Evans who had five hits and accounted for four runs. The Baron bats from Robert Herr, Nathan Meeks, Nick Jacobs, Chase Tomko, and Frank Deluca all put up a multi-hit night. Shane Cato and Nick Jacobs pitched eight innings in relief to keep the Barons alive. Excellent team win defensively and offensively. The Barons travel to Toledo this weekend for a two day twin bill against the Toledo Hawks.

DuBois, PA — Excellent base-running execution, timed up with hitting and passion, helped the Barons grab enough runs to ensure a split in this Sunday’s twin bill against the DuBois Bucks. Robert Herr, Ethan Bintrim, and Shane Cato combined to only give up one hit in the seven inning matchup against the Bucks. Nathan Meeks hit a huge double in the second inning that was the spark that lit the Barons flame for the entire game offensively. Excellent team win for the Barons, next we are off to Altoona, for a doubleheader against Cumming Motors.
