Butler, PA — The 3B Barons defeated Butler Blue Sox 6-5 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The 3B Barons were down 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Joey Fazzone homered to left field, scoring two runs.

Altoona, PA — A walk-off left The 3B Barons on the wrong end of a 9-8 defeat to Altoona CM on Sunday. Altoona CM was down 8-7 in the bottom of the seventh inning when Colton Burd homered on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.

New Castle, PA — The 3B Barons stayed in it until the end, but Meadville Mustangs pulled away late in a 5-2 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at one with Meadville Mustangs batting in the top of the sixth when Ryan Dougherty doubled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Butler, PA — The 3B Barons and Butler Iron Bucks played a taut affair on Thursday, but The 3B Barons eventually prevailed 16-12. The game was tied at 11 with The 3B Barons batting in the top of the twelfth when Frank De Luca singled on a 1-2 count, scoring one run.

New Castle, PA — Joey Fazzone would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Thursday, driving in five on two hits to lead The 3B Barons past Creekside Crocodiles 13-3 on Thursday. Fazzone drove in runs on a walk in the third, a double in the fifth, and a triple in the seventh.

DuBois, PA — The Barons traveled to DuBois to play their scheduled home games and walked away with game one in a dominating fashion. On the mound Jake Vitale was light out striking out 9 Bucks giving up zero runs and leading the Barons to the win. At the plate the Barons "Suga" Shane Cato, Anthony "Little Bull" Ryan, and Ethan "Big Hits" Bintrim lead the team with two hits each. Ethan Bintrim captured two RBI's and Shane Cato grabbed 4 RBI's after his bottom of the 6th walk off grand slam to hurdle the Barons to victory early due to the mercy rule.

New Castle, PA — The Barons stayed strong for game two and ended the day with a sweep against the number one team in the league, Altoona Cumming Motors. Jake Vitale was lights out on the mound throwing 6 complete innings only giving up 3 runs, capturing 8 strike outs and acquiring the win. Brett Bobin came in the 7th inning and closed it out for the Barons with an excellent relief performance. At the plate Ethan Bintrim and Frank DeLuca combined for 4 RBI's also a double and a triple. Robert Herr and Connor Evans also tagged in an RBI each to help the Barons secure the sweep. The Barons next game is against the Youngstown Creekside Crocs at Flaherty Field, Wednesday, July 6th. Holland, OH — The starting pitcher, Jake Vitale, went 6 complete innings to keep the Hawks to one run. Jake struck out six Hawks throughout his outing and only gave up two hits. Following Vitale was Brett Bobin to close out the game in the last inning striking out two Hawks for himself. The Barons bats were on the ball today as Benny Dottle, Nathan Meeks, Anthony Ryan, Ryan Perretti, and Ethan Brintrim all had a multi-hit game. The defense was stellar, making all necessary plays behind a great pitching performance.

Butler, PA — The Barons came out swinging and taking advantage on the bases. Anthony Ryan, Connor Evans, and Brady Hanson all scored 3 runs each for the Barons. Jake Vitale got the win throwing 4 full innings with 7 K’s. Brett Bobin and Shane Cato combined for 4 innings to keep the Blue Sox at bay for the rest of the game.
