New Castle, PA — The Barons showed up to Flaherty Field and brought the whole team for a great win in front of the home crowd. Ryan Perretti started on the mound for the Barons and gave 3 solid innings with 4 strikeouts. Benny Dottle followed by giving the Barons 2 full innings of scoreless relief and striking out one. Ethan Bintrim came in the 6th and 7th inning to help keep Creekside to zero runs and capturing two strikeouts himself. Matt Miller and Logan Ayres closed the game in the 8th and 9th to keep the shut out alive with excellent performances by both combing for 3 K's. At the plate, today the Barons showed their sticks. Nico Hall lead the way with three hits and a run, followed by Benny Dottle and Nick Jacobs having 2 RBI's each. Anthony Ryan, Shane Cato, and Brett Bobin also captured hits and an RBI each to help put the Barons on top and stay there. The Barons play the Butler Blue Sox in a twin bill at Flaherty Field, Friday, July 8th, first game starts at 4pm.

New Castle, PA — The Barons brought the fight with them to the field today to battle Altoona Cumming Motors. The Barons were down 7-0 going into the bottom of the 4th and found a way to pull it out, 10-9 in the bottom of the 7th. Shane Cato came in the 5th inning down 7-2 and kept the Barons in it enough to help them pull away with the victory. Brady Hansen lead the bats for the Barons with 2 hits, a single and a triple, also Hansen had 2 RBI's. In the bottom of the 7th the Barons wore 3 pitches to get base runners aboard followed by a Chase Tomko and Ryan Perretti hit then a Nathan Meeks walk off single. The Barons once again won as a team and continued to show heart no matter the circumstances of the game.

Holland, OH — The starting pitcher, Jake Vitale, went 6 complete innings to keep the Hawks to one run. Jake struck out six Hawks throughout his outing and only gave up two hits. Following Vitale was Brett Bobin to close out the game in the last inning striking out two Hawks for himself. The Barons bats were on the ball today as Benny Dottle, Nathan Meeks, Anthony Ryan, Ryan Perretti, and Ethan Brintrim all had a multi-hit game. The defense was stellar, making all necessary plays behind a great pitching performance.
