Butler, PA — The 3B Barons defeated Butler Blue Sox 6-5 on Sunday after taking the lead late in the game. The 3B Barons were down 5-4 in the bottom of the fifth inning when Joey Fazzone homered to left field, scoring two runs.

New Castle, PA — The 3B Barons took the lead late in the game in a 6-2 victory over Meadville Mustangs on Tuesday. The game was tied at two with The 3B Barons batting in the bottom of the seventh when Robert Herr singled on a 3-1 count, scoring one run.

Youngstown, OH — Tyler Kamerer had a busy day at the plate on Wednesday, smacking four hits in The 3B Barons's 13-3 victory over Creekside Crocodiles. Kamerer singled in the first, doubled in the fifth, singled in the eighth, and tripled in the eighth.

Butler, PA — The 3B Barons snatched the lead late in the game in an 11-8 victory over Butler Blue Sox on Saturday. The 3B Barons trailed 8-7 in the top of the eighth inning when Joey Fazzone singled on a 2-2 count, scoring two runs.

New Castle, PA — Joey Fazzone would not be denied at the plate when runners were on base on Thursday, driving in five on two hits to lead The 3B Barons past Creekside Crocodiles 13-3 on Thursday. Fazzone drove in runs on a walk in the third, a double in the fifth, and a triple in the seventh.

New Wilmington, PA — The Barons had to show their battling spirit in game 2 of the twin bill against the Butler Blue Sox at Westminster College. The Barons fell behind by 3 in the 4th inning however, in the 5th inning the Battling Barons found a way to piece it together to grab the victory and the sweep. At the plate for the Barons they put a team effort together, Nico Hall and Brett Bobin captured two doubles, Nick Vitale and Anthony Ryan also had hits and an RBI each, and Ethan Bintrim stayed on his hitting train to help propel the Barons to victory. On the mound Ethan Bintrim entered the game in the 5th inning and held the Blue Sox to no runs and acquired the win for himself. The Barons travel to Butler tomorrow to play the Butler Iron Bucks in a double header for the top seed in the division. Game one’s first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 4pm, see you there!

New Castle, PA — The Barons mercy ruled the Butler Blue Sox in the 5th inning of today's first game. The Barons were lead at the plate by Robert Herr and Connor Evans who both captured two hits and each a triple. Robert Herr also supported the Barons run total by having 3 RBI's for himself. Nico Hall assisted in the slaughter by recording 2 RBI's after his triple to the wall. Ethan Bintrim came in clutch to walk it off in the 5th with a hit up the middle. On the mound Hunter Stellato pitched 5 innings and gave up zero runs. Hunter mowed down 4 Blue Sox in his performance and battled every pitch.

New Castle, PA — The Barons showed up to Flaherty Field and brought the whole team for a great win in front of the home crowd. Ryan Perretti started on the mound for the Barons and gave 3 solid innings with 4 strikeouts. Benny Dottle followed by giving the Barons 2 full innings of scoreless relief and striking out one. Ethan Bintrim came in the 6th and 7th inning to help keep Creekside to zero runs and capturing two strikeouts himself. Matt Miller and Logan Ayres closed the game in the 8th and 9th to keep the shut out alive with excellent performances by both combing for 3 K's. At the plate, today the Barons showed their sticks. Nico Hall lead the way with three hits and a run, followed by Benny Dottle and Nick Jacobs having 2 RBI's each. Anthony Ryan, Shane Cato, and Brett Bobin also captured hits and an RBI each to help put the Barons on top and stay there. The Barons play the Butler Blue Sox in a twin bill at Flaherty Field, Friday, July 8th, first game starts at 4pm.
