Austin opened up the scoring with a nice goal on the powerplay and led the team by example with his great play on the offensive and defensive side of the puck.

Derek scored the second and third goals of the game and West Ranch held on for a 3-1 victory.

Derek scored two goals as the Cats jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period. The Strikers almost came back making the score 3-2, but as the captain, Derek's leadership kept the team steady and West Ranch moved on with an exciting 5-2 victory.
