Whittier, CA — The Chiefs earned a crucial 3-0 victory over Pioneer High school. Santa Fe's back 4, led by Danny Ruvalcaba and Saul Garcia did an outstanding job shutting down several of Pioneers attacks. The Chiefs opener was scored as Kyle Mallory headed home a corner kick that was flicked on from Oscar Tostado. The second was a tidy finish from Jerry Chavez after Nathaniel Santana beat his man down the right hand side and squared a pass to the midfielder. Finally, the Chiefs scored on a long range effort by Louis Guardado after Ivan Rivera touched the ball cleanly outside the 18.

Santa Fe Springs, CA — The Chiefs, coming off consecutive one-goal losses, had an offensive outpouring today defeating Whittier 8-0. Nathaniel Santana led the way with 3 goals and 2 assists and Ivan Rivera scoring a goal and assisting another 2. Other Santa Fe goalscorers were Jerry Chavez, Oscar Tostado, Alexei Cortez and Emilio Garcia. Danny Ruvalcaba, Emilio Garcia, and Kyle Mallory assisted on goals.

Santa Fe Springs, CA — The Chiefs drew today's game against Bishop Amat 3-3. They led late behind Nathaniel Santana's 2 goal and 1 assist performance before surrendering a controversial equalizer. Jerry Chavez and Fernando Palomares assisted Santana's goals while Kyle Mallory first time finished a cross from Santana to score the Chiefs second.

Santa Fe Springs, CA — The Chiefs rebounded from earlier setbacks with an offensive display in their second game of the day beating Charter Oak High School 5-0. The Chiefs were led by Nathaniel Santana who assisted on the second and scored the third goal (assisted by Daniel Ruvalcaba). Louis Guardado opened the scoring with a tight angled shot which was followed up by Ivan Rivera who was put through the center of the defense by Santana. Gerlyn Rojas scored the Chiefs fourth goal with an outstanding individual effort and Kyle Mallory capped the scoring with a nice first time strike assisted by Oscar Tostado. The defensive back line did an excellent job stopping any Charter Oak chances.
