Anaheim, CA — Canyon started the game with a quick goal in the first few minutes. Makena Oliva passed to Carly Cross who took the ball to the net. El Dorado turned up the pressure on Canyon's defense and goalie Mia Santos had some tremendous saves to keep the score at half time, Canyon 1- El Dorado 0. In the second half El Dorado's pressure continued and second half keeper Elizabeth Reichert kept up the saves. The game was tied by El Dorado with a goal that ricocheted off the top bar. The referees determined it was a goal tying the game 1-1. The second goal for Canyon came from a corner kick from Cross and a header by Natalie Darling, putting Canyon back on top 2-1. The final goal of the game was from El Dorado which tied the game 2-2. A well played match by all.

Orange, CA — Canyon played El Modena Friday and earned a win! El Modena scored the first goal of the match but Sophomore, Natalie Darling quickly answered back with a goal for Canyon from a free kick by Junior, Tyler Pamperin. The teams were tied 1-1 going into the half. Canyon then scored a second goal with Freshman, Makena Oliva’s cross and Senior, Carly Cross following it in. The third goal was a corner kick from Cross and Senior, Ally Gorsha finished. And the final goal for Canyon was an assist from Cross and finish by Junior, Rachel Hartfelder taking the score to Canyon 4 and Elmo 1. Elmo quickly answered back scoring 2 more goals making the final score Canyon 4 and El Modena 3. Nice job Canyon!!!

Anaheim, CA — Canyon played Foothill at home this evening and were victorious. Two goals were scored in the first half by Senior Carly Cross and Freshman Makena Oliva. In the second half, Freshman Natalie Darling ran the ball up the field and sent it to Cross who scored. The fourth and final goal came on a corner kick from Junior Tyler Pamperin and Darling scored on the kick for the Comanches. A huge effort by this team and a great win!

Yorba Linda, CA — Canyon had a great game with many shots on goal but it wasn’t until the last minutes that they were able to finish. Makenna Oliva sent a ball to Carly Cross who was able to chip it over the keeper for the score and win. Awesome game Comanches!

Anaheim, CA — Both Canyon and Foothill were not able to finish a goal during regulation play which sent the game into overtime. The first team to score or the “golden goal” would be the winner. During the first 10 minute overtime period, it seemed the game might continue to be scoreless until junior, Emily Bishay, delivered the ball to sophomore, Carly Cross, who found the net for the Comanches giving them the win.

Santa Ana, CA — The rain did not stop one bit tonight and neither did the Comanche Women’s Varsity Soccer team! Canyon defeated Foothill 3-1. The first 2 goals were made in the first half of the game. Junior, Sydney Ervine scored the first goal with a ball sent by Sophomore, Carly Cross. The second goal was put in again by Ervine with an assist from Junior, Emily Bishay. After half time, Foothill answered back with a goal of their own. As the countdown to the end of the game was drawing near, Carly Cross scored a final goal for Canyon with a pass from Junior, Kate Henderson. Canyon wins!!!
