Council, VA — Heading into Friday nights BDD matchup the #2 seed was up for grabs as the Lady Panthers traveled to Council. When the dust had settled the Lady Panthers not only earned a 35 to 33 win over the Lady Cobras, they also earned guaranteed possession of the #2 seed.

Pilgrims Knob, VA — The Lady Panthers improved to 13-6 with a 51 to 31 win over Cornerstone Christian Academy. The Panthers were led by Cheyanna Davis, 22 points 6 rebounds and 4 assists, Leya Vanover (9 points, 6 rebounds) and Rayne Hawthorne (9 points, 18 rebounds). The Lady Panthers overcome a sluggish start to pull away in the second half.

Hurley, VA — The Lady Panthers held on to defeat Hurley 41 to 39 in BDD action on the road Tuesday night. The Lady Panthers squandered a 15 point lead as the Lady Rebels made a fierce comeback led by Jayda Stacy and Emily Mullins in the fourth quarter.

Johnson City, TN — The Lady Panthers took down cross state rival I.AM. in Johnson City on Monday night 49 to 32. The Lady Panthers were led by Cheyanna Davis (15 points) and Rayne Hawthorne and Kiarra Gross (12 each). The Ravens were paced by Ellah Jaworski who had 18.

Pilgrims Knob, VA — The Lady Panthers lost their BDD opener at home to Grundy 61-42. The Lady Panthers could not overcome 18 missed foul shots and 17 turnovers. The Lady Wave held a 31-20 halftime lead and managed to hold on to the lead. The Lady Panthers fall to 9-5 on the season with the loss and will play Hurley this Friday 1/12 in their annual Homecoming game.

Richlands, VA — Despite a strong second half showing the Lady Panthers were unable to overcome a sluggish first half against the Lady Blues. The Lady Panthers fall to 9-4 with the loss, next game vs Grundy on 1/9.

Rustburg, VA — The Lady Panthers defeated Cornerstone Christian on Tuesday night 42-34 to improve to 9-3 on the season. The Lady Panthers were led by Rayne Hawthorne (15 points) and Leya Vanover (11 points).

Pilgrims Knob, VA — The Lady Panthers overcome a sluggish 14 to 10 halftime lead and pulled away in the second half to defeat Holston 45 to 26. The Lady Panthers were led by Cheyanna Davis (18 points) and Rayne Hawthorne (10 points). The Lady Panthers improve to 8-3 on the season with the win. The next game will be against Cornerstone on 1/2.

Pilgrims Knob, VA — The Lady Panthers managed to hang on 50-49 to defeat East Ridge with the first game back from Christmas Break. The Panthers led 31 to 15 at the half and appeared to be in control of the game. But, a poor shooting second half marred buy several unforced turnovers turned an otherwise sure thing into a too close for comfort kind of ending.

Damascus, VA — Cheyanna Davis and Rayne Hawthorne scored 14 points apiece as the Twin Valley Panthers hammered Holston for a non-district victory.

Rural Retreat, VA — The Lady Panthers fell to Rural Retreat 3 to 0 in Regional play on Halloween night. The loss ended the season for the Lady Panthers, Rural Retreat will now advance to Regional semi-finals.

Pilgrims Knob, VA — The Lady Panthers hosted Rye Cove at THE KNOB on Thursday night and fell 3 to 1 to the Lady War Eagles. The Panthers will travel to Rye Cove next week in a rematch of the two non-conference foes.
