Laguna Beach, CA — On Wednesday, May 26th the JV players teed it up at Ben Brown's golf course for the final round of the 2021 JV Championship. It looked like a two-player race to begin the day, with Chase Tyson holding a 6 stroke lead over Jackson Lawsky. Both players had a comfortable gap on the rest of the players, with 3rd and 4th place George Saba and Cooper Wollen over ten strokes back.

Santa Ana, CA — On Wednesday, May 19th, the varsity team traveled to the oldest golf course in Orange County - Willowick golf course in Santa Ana, to play our final wave league match of the year against Fountain Valley HS. The players responded with our best team score of the year, posting a total of 218 on the par 35 course.

Laguna Beach, CA — On Wednesday, May 19th the JV players were again at Ben Brown's golf course for the second round of the 2021 JV Championship. The race for the tournament winner in both scoring and putting remains close and is still up for grabs.

Cypress, CA — Laguna varsity played a windy Navy Destroyer course in Cypress, CA today against Los Alamitos high school. We posted our best team score of the season, coming in with a 226 total (best 5 scores).  It's great to see the team continue to shoot better and better scores as the season progresses.

Santa Ana, CA — The Laguna boys JV team traveled to Willowick golf course (the oldest course in Orange County) to play a Wave league match against Marnia high school from Huntington Beach. The Breakers posted a team score of 262 and Marina shot 235. The team-low score of 49 came from freshman Chase Tyson. The rest of the team scoring came from Stephen Schaefer 50, Cooper Wollen 51, Benji Jenkins 54, and Jackson Lawsky 58.

Mission Viejo, CA — The LBHS boys JV team played at Oso Creek golf course against Santa Margarita Catholic high school. As a team, Laguna shot 241 and SMCHS shot 206. The low scores for Laguna came from sophomores Ayden Ardell and Lorenzo Lahijani, with both of them posting a score of 46. Freshman Stephen Schaefer followed with a score of 47. Benji Jenkins (So) and Jackson Lawsky (Fr) shot 50 to round out the team scoring. Scores for the rest of the players included Cooper Wollen 52, Chase Tyson 53, and Ranen Seeck 56.

Cypress, CA — On Monday, May 3rd, the JV team traveled to The Navy Golf facility in Cypress, CA to take on Wave League rival Los Alamitos high school on the Cruiser course. All the players on the team have been working hard in practice and they were rewarded with a season-low, team score of 230. Sophomore Cooper Wollen lead the way with a score of 44. He was followed by freshman Chase Tyson with a 45. The top 5 scores were rounded out by Lorenzo Lahijani (So), Jackson Lawsky (Fr), and Stephen Schaefer (Fr) who all shot 47. Benji Jenkins (So) posted 50 and Ranen Seeck (Fr) was close behind with a 53. Congratulations JV team!

Aliso Viejo, CA — The varsity team played our first match of the year at our usual home course at Aliso Viejo CC. It was a good day overall with the team posting a season-low team score of 223. Kason Schilling shot 42 which was the low score for the team; it was also his low score of the season. In fact, several players shot their season-low scores, including Kason at 42, Harrison Judd at 44, and Luke Hendrickson at 44. Jake Cutter posted 43 and Oliver Mackel shot 48 to round out the 5 low scores for the team.

Laguna Beach, CA — The Laguna varsity players teed it up with Huntington Beach and Newport Harbor, two of the top teams in Orange County. It was a good opportunity for our players to see some high-level golf, with several of the HB and Newport players already set to play golf in college next year.
