Lakers Control Clock In 20-7 Victory over Groves
West Bloomfield took on cross town rival Birmingham Groves last Friday and used a balanced offense to dominate time of possession vs the Falcons en route to a 20-7 victory.

For the first time this season, the West Bloomfield Lakers played on the road, taking an undefeated record north to Lake Orion High School. Despite a mistake plagued first half, the Lakers went to the locker room with a 13-10 lead before exploding in the 3rd quarter to the tune of 20 unanswered points en route to a 33-16 road victory.

This part week the West Bloomfield Laker Defense met its toughest challenge to date in the Highlanders from Rochester Adams High School. Both teams entered the game undefeated but defense and special teams helped propel the Lakers to a 12-6 win in what was a classic OAA Red Battle.

Friday night the West Bloomfield Varsity Football team kicked off their week 2 game against Southfield with anticipation in the air. Defense, Special Teams, and another dominate effort by the run game led the team to a 37-0 victory.
