El Modena Track and Field at El Dorado.
Congratulations to the El Modena Track team for another great performance. The Boys Varsity Team once again came up with the big win as they beat El Dorado 80.5 to 28.5 and finished the season undefeated 6-0 and now the Vanguards boys and girls will be getting ready for league prelims next Saturday April 29th at Fred Kelly Stadium. The girls team also had a great day as they all performed at a high level and a lot of them had personal best in their events. The MVP honors for this meet went to Brayden Metoyer for the Boys as he won both the 1600m and the 3200 and on the girls side the MVP honors went to the 4x400 relay with Monique Azpeitia , Collette Lusin , Suzanne Hooker and Kayleyanne Scott and ran their best time of the year 4:15.28 a 10 second PR!!! This young ladies are not playing around and they are looking forward to qualifying to CIF!!! Once again congratulations to the El Modena Track team for another great meet. We hope to see everyone at league prelims next Saturday!
