The EHS wrestling team traveled to Fallbrok High for their first dual meet of 2024 and their 2nd Valley League Dual of the season. The Cougars won 11 of the weight classes to come away with a victory with a score of 60-18.

The EHS wrestling team traveled to Fallbrok High for their first dual meet of 2024 and their 2nd Valley League Dual of the season. The Cougars won 11 of the weight classes to come away with a victory with a score of 60-18.
The Cougars competed in the Western High 10 Way duals. With only a few weights with more than one wrestler, many wrestlers had to compete in 9 matches over the 2 day span. The team wrestled very well and came away with a winning record over the 9 duals. The Cougars stepped up big and finished in 5th place with a 5-4 record and were 1 point away from finishing in 3rd. Our team learned what it takes to win as a team in dual meets, which should serve us well moving into the league dual meet part of our season.

A day after competing in a trimeet at EHS the Cougars traveled to San Pasqual to take on city rivals Orange Glen and San Pasqual high schools. Our first dual was against OG, the Cougars were victorious by a score of 51-22. In the second dual of the night against the defending city dual champs, San Pasqual the Cougars ended up winning a hard fought contest by a score of 43-30.

Escondido hosted our first 2 duals of the season in a trimeet at EHS. In our first dual we came up sort in a battle against Scripps Ranch High School 24-57. In our second dual of the night we took on Mission Hills High School. In a tightly contested match we came out victorious 39-36.
