Foothill made the trip to Yorba Linda's stadium on a crisp January evening for the last conference game before they kick off Crestview competition next week. Yorba Linda entered the match with 2 consecutive wins after stunning Canyon 4-3 in comeback fashion two days earlier and Foothill was riding a 3 game win streak into the contest. One win streak would come to an end by the end of the evening.

Foothill welcomed El Modena to the Northrup Stadium on a cold winter Wednesday night to kick off Century Conference play. The Century conference is made up of 8 teams separated into 2 leagues, Crestview, the upper league, and North Hills, the lower league.

The second day of the Winter Showcase at Mater Dei saw Foothill take on Pacifica (Oxnard) at 4pm and Mater Dei face Santa Barbara at 6pm. Yesterday, Foothill beat Santa Barbara by a score of 3-2 and Mater Dei dispatched Pacifica (Oxnard) 7-1. Santa Barbara and Pacifica (Oxnard) were the #1 and #2 teams in Santa Barbara county coming into the event.

The Foothill Knights came back to Mater Dei as part of a Winter Showcase on Thursday and Friday before the New Year to take on Santa Barbara and Pacifica (Oxnard). The event was orchestrated by the coaches looking to get competitive matches with quality teams before seasons opens in January. Thursday's matchups were Foothill (A) v Santa Barbara (H) at 4pm and Pacifica (Oxnard) (A) v Mater Dei (H) at 6pm.
