San Juan Capistrano, CA — Lions win rematch with visiting Bolsa Grande for 2nd win of the year. Kudos to a few 7th period PE JV players who filled in for missing players this afternoon; the Matadors had a few new faces on their side as well, which made for a very close match. Kudos to Peter Zhang, Daniel Pasha, and Noah Nguyen who dominated singles, winning all of the sets in which they played.

Irvine, CA — In an all doubles format, our young Frosh Soph team was winless again vs Portola’s JV B team.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — We played an all doubles format today in a very fun, competitive atmosphere.

Fountain Valley, CA — Outnumbered again, as shown in the picture, our young Frosh / Soph team won only 2 sets this afternoon. A lot of the losses were lopsided, however we had some longer lasting sets and forced a few tie-breakers.

San Juan Capistrano, CA — We played the “lower” half of Portola’s JV team this afternoon. “I knew we were in trouble when our top JV player Peter Zhang told me at lunch that there was not much difference between their top 9 guys vs bottom 9 guys.”
