New Castle, PA — The 3B Barons defeated East Butler Bulldogs 7-1 on Wednesday thanks to a timely four runs in a big sixth inning. Benny Dottle, Caelan Bender, and Tyler Kamerer each drove in runs during the inning.

East Butler Bulldogs scored six runs in the failed comeback on a double by Nico Melograne in the second, a sacrifice fly by Evan Kircher in the second, a double by Brendan Koroly in the sixth, a error in the sixth, and a double by Tristen Kenzevich in the sixth.

DuBois, PA — The Barons traveled to DuBois to play their scheduled home games and walked away with game one in a dominating fashion. On the mound Jake Vitale was light out striking out 9 Bucks giving up zero runs and leading the Barons to the win. At the plate the Barons "Suga" Shane Cato, Anthony "Little Bull" Ryan, and Ethan "Big Hits" Bintrim lead the team with two hits each. Ethan Bintrim captured two RBI's and Shane Cato grabbed 4 RBI's after his bottom of the 6th walk off grand slam to hurdle the Barons to victory early due to the mercy rule.

New Wilmington, PA — The Barons had to show their battling spirit in game 2 of the twin bill against the Butler Blue Sox at Westminster College. The Barons fell behind by 3 in the 4th inning however, in the 5th inning the Battling Barons found a way to piece it together to grab the victory and the sweep. At the plate for the Barons they put a team effort together, Nico Hall and Brett Bobin captured two doubles, Nick Vitale and Anthony Ryan also had hits and an RBI each, and Ethan Bintrim stayed on his hitting train to help propel the Barons to victory. On the mound Ethan Bintrim entered the game in the 5th inning and held the Blue Sox to no runs and acquired the win for himself. The Barons travel to Butler tomorrow to play the Butler Iron Bucks in a double header for the top seed in the division. Game one’s first pitch is scheduled to be thrown at 4pm, see you there!

Today was National Ethan Bintrim Day at the plate where Bintrim showcased his ability to rack up 3 hits and 5, yes, 5 RBI's. Ethan was accompanied in his multi hit day by Chase Tomko and Benny Dottle who both tagged 2 hits for themselves. JA Quahliero, fresh off a knee injury came out today and blasted in 3 RBI's for himself. The Barons were lead at the plate by Robert Herr and Connor Evans who both captured two hits and each a triple. Robert Herr also supported the Barons run total by having 3 RBI's for himself. Nico Hall assisted in the slaughter by recording 2 RBI's after his triple to the wall. Ethan Bintrim came in clutch to walk it off in the 5th with a hit up the middle. On the mound Hunter Stellato pitched 5 innings and gave up zero runs. Hunter mowed down 4 Blue Sox in his performance and battled every pitch.

Ryan Perretti started on the mound for the Barons and gave 3 solid innings with 4 strikeouts. Benny Dottle followed by giving the Barons 2 full innings of scoreless relief and striking out one. Ethan Bintrim came in the 6th and 7th inning to help keep Creekside to zero runs and capturing two strikeouts himself. Matt Miller and Logan Ayres closed the game in the 8th and 9th to keep the shut out alive with excellent performances by both combing for 3 K's. At the plate, today the Barons showed their sticks. Jake Vitale was lights out on the mound throwing 6 complete innings only giving up 3 runs, capturing 8 strike outs and acquiring the win. Brett Bobin came in the 7th inning and closed it out for the Barons with an excellent relief performance. At the plate Ethan Bintrim and Frank DeLuca combined for 4 RBI's also a double and a triple. Altoona, PA — Matthew DuBois pitched a 6 inning gem with 12 strikeouts and zero runs given up. Matthew carved into Altoona's Johnston Reality from inning 1 and Nick Jacobs came in for the last inning to close it out with two strikeouts of his own. At the plate for the Barons Caleb Lehman blasted the Barons first home run of the season and Nick Jacobs hit a triple and a double. Caleb also lead the way with 2 RBI's followed by Gabe Yanssens, Brady Hansen, and Ethan Bintrim with one RBI a piece. Great teamwork defensively with big plays made by Nathan Meeks and Frank DeLuca to keep the score zero and all runners at bay. Youngstown, OH — The 3B Barons entered Youngstown for the second time in two weeks and exited with a second win. The Barons bats showed up early and battled throughout the entire contest. The Barons offense was lead today by Benny Dottle and Robert Herr both having a three hit game followed by Nick Jacobs, Anthony Ryan, Caelan Bender and Gabe Yansssens with two hits a piece. All five batters accounted for 9 RBI's. The Barons utilized the entire staff in Youngstown starting with Logan Ayres, Matt DuBois, Brett Bobin, Nick Jacobs and finished with Ethan Bintrim. The Barons, again, showed a complete team victory and are 4 - 2 in their last six contest before entering their home opener, June 25th, against the top rated Butler Iron Bucks. Holland, OH — The starting pitcher, Jake Vitale, went 6 complete innings to keep the Hawks to one run. Jake struck out six Hawks throughout his outing and only gave up two hits. Following Vitale was Brett Bobin to close out the game in the last inning striking out two Hawks for himself. The Barons bats were on the ball today as Benny Dottle, Nathan Meeks, Anthony Ryan, Ryan Perretti, and Ethan Brintrim all had a multi-hit game. The defense was stellar, making all necessary plays behind a great pitching performance.

DuBois, PA — Excellent base-running execution, timed up with hitting and passion, helped the Barons grab enough runs to ensure a split in this Sunday’s twin bill against the DuBois Bucks. Robert Herr, Ethan Bintrim, and Shane Cato combined to only give up one hit in the seven inning matchup against the Bucks. Nathan Meeks hit a huge double in the second inning that was the spark that lit the Barons flame for the entire game offensively. Excellent team win for the Barons, next we are off to Altoona, for a doubleheader against Cumming Motors.
