New Castle, PA — The 3B Barons had no trouble on offense today, winning big over East Butler Bulldogs 11-1

New Wilmington, PA — Both teams put up a bunch of runs, but The 3B Barons fell to Butler Blue Sox 9-6 on Friday.

New Wilmington, PA — The Barons and the Blue Sox battled game one of today's twin bill. The Blue Sox were up 3-1 after the 2nd inning but, the Barons did not quit, putting up 5 more runs throughout the rest of the contest to secure game one’s victory. The Barons were lead at the plate by Robert Herr who had 2 hits, an RBI and scored twice. Connor Evans and Caelen Bender also had hits in the game and combined for 3 runs. On the hill Ryan Gibbons pitched 6 complete innings only allowing 3 runs. Shane Cato came in the top of the 7th bases loaded, 2 outs, was able to get out of it with no blood and earn the save. Great team victory to open the series at Westminster College.

New Castle, PA — The Barons and the Blue Sox went back and forth the entire second game until at the end when the Barons put it on. Today was National Ethan Bintrim Day at the plate where Bintrim showcased his ability to rack up 3 hits and 5, yes, 5 RBI's. Ethan was accompanied in his multi hit day by Chase Tomko and Benny Dottle who both tagged 2 hits for themselves. JA Quahliero, fresh off a knee injury came out today and blasted in 3 RBI's for himself. Brett Bobin and Connor Evans were able to knock in an RBI each to help the Barons run away with the victory and the sweep! The Barons host the Blue Sox again at Westminster College July 10th, at 1pm. New Castle, PA — The Barons mercy ruled the Butler Blue Sox in the 5th inning of today's first game. The Barons were lead at the plate by Robert Herr and Connor Evans who both captured two hits and each a triple. Robert Herr also supported the Barons run total by having 3 RBI's for himself. Nico Hall assisted in the slaughter by recording 2 RBI's after his triple to the wall. Ethan Bintrim came in clutch to walk it off in the 5th with a hit up the middle. On the mound Hunter Stellato pitched 5 innings and gave up zero runs. Hunter mowed down 4 Blue Sox in his performance and battled every pitch.

New Castle, PA — The Barons stayed strong for game two and ended the day with a sweep against the number one team in the league, Altoona Cumming Motors. Jake Vitale was lights out on the mound throwing 6 complete innings only giving up 3 runs, capturing 8 strike outs and acquiring the win. Brett Bobin came in the 7th inning and closed it out for the Barons with an excellent relief performance. At the plate Ethan Bintrim and Frank DeLuca combined for 4 RBI's also a double and a triple. Robert Herr and Connor Evans also tagged in an RBI each to help the Barons secure the sweep. The Barons next game is against the Youngstown Creekside Crocs at Flaherty Field, Wednesday, July 6th. Youngstown, OH — The Barons went to Youngstown and put up 19 runs against the Crocs. The Barons were led by Connor Evans who had five hits and accounted for four runs. The Baron bats from Robert Herr, Nathan Meeks, Nick Jacobs, Chase Tomko, and Frank Deluca all put up a multi-hit night. Shane Cato and Nick Jacobs pitched eight innings in relief to keep the Barons alive. Excellent team win defensively and offensively. The Barons travel to Toledo this weekend for a two day twin bill against the Toledo Hawks.

Butler, PA — The Barons came out swinging and taking advantage on the bases. Anthony Ryan, Connor Evans, and Brady Hanson all scored 3 runs each for the Barons. Jake Vitale got the win throwing 4 full innings with 7 K’s. Brett Bobin and Shane Cato combined for 4 innings to keep the Blue Sox at bay for the rest of the game. Great defense all around from the outfield to the infield. Great team win. Next game is Saturday, June 4th at Pullman Park against the Butler Blue Sox in a 9 inning showdown.
